Privacy Policy

Version 1 · In effect since October 16, 2026

This policy explains how WATINEE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTIES L.L.C ("WatineeProp", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website, contact us or buy, sell or rent property through us. It is written to meet the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where they apply to you, the EU and UK GDPR, Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).

Who we are

WATINEE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTIES L.L.C is a real estate brokerage registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (TRN 104503912800001). We decide why and how your personal data is processed, so we are the data controller.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred language, the property or project you ask about, your message, a preferred viewing date, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you go on to buy, sell or rent, we also collect what the transaction requires, such as passport or Emirates ID details, address, nationality, payment and title deed information.

Information collected automatically: technical data such as your browser, device, approximate location from your IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you agree to them (see our Cookie Policy).

Information from others: property developers, other brokers, landlords or owners, and public registers (for example the Dubai Land Department) when this is needed for your transaction.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only when needed and never sell it.

  • Developers, owners, landlords and other brokers involved in the property you are interested in, so they can answer you or complete the transaction.
  • Government bodies and regulators, such as the Dubai Land Department and RERA, when the law requires it.
  • Service providers who work for us under contract: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and messaging (including WhatsApp), and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising (Google, Meta).
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors and banks, when needed for your transaction.

International transfers

We are based in the UAE, and some of our service providers store data in other countries. When your data leaves the country where it was collected, we use safeguards required by the applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses, and for personal information from mainland China we follow the PIPL requirements for cross-border transfers, including your separate consent where needed.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Transaction records: as long as UAE law requires, usually 5 years after the transaction ends.
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
  • Cookie consent records: 13 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold and give you a copy;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
  • send your data to you or to another company in a usable format;
  • stop using your data for direct marketing, or object to other uses;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before);
  • explain the rules for processing your data (PIPL), and, after death, let next of kin exercise these rights where the law allows.

Write to contact@watineeproperties.com. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UAE the UAE Data Office, in Thailand the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), in the EU or UK your local supervisory authority, and in China the Cyberspace Administration of China.

Security

We protect personal data with encrypted connections, access limited to the staff who need it, and service providers bound by confidentiality. No system is completely secure; if a breach is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy in a way that matters, we publish a new version on this page with its date and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
